The Japanese invent yet another creepy robot that nobody actually wants:

It is ironic that the more human and lifelike the Japanese attempt to make a robot, the creepier and less human it appears. And we would appreciate that irony still, were it not for the fact that the Japanese are beating us over the head with this irony as they design one creepy robot after another. Don't believe me?

Now maybe you guys think that all this just means that hot cyborgs a la Ghost in the Shell are just around the corner. But is it worth the price we must pay in witnessing one disturbing "sexy" robot after another? Not to me.
