Mascot...for which side??

For those of you who don't know, this is Rowdy, the Dallas Cowboys mascot.

Rowdy even has an entry on Wikipedia, which I suspect he wrote himself. However, it is also possible that Rowdy did not write the entry because in fact he is too dumb to write. I say this because of a moment in the Dallas-NY Giants game the other night. The Giants, with possession of the ball, pull off yet another running play for significant yardage. The camera then cuts to the sideline and what do we see? Rowdy, cheering, in front of Giants fans also cheering their team's progress.

Rowdy. Buddy. I know a lot is expected of you, as far as running around and trying to get people pumped while being rendered mute by the clown costume they pay you $8 an hour to wear. But it's not your job to get the opposing team's fans pumped up. That's for the Giant's idiot mascot to do. Please, try to pay attention to what's going on the game so you'll know when to cheer. Even the cheerleaders don't cheer when the Giants run for 10-yards Rowdy, and that's saying something.
