Alcohol + Hormones = "Beer Goggle Effect"

This formula purports to explain some of the past indiscretions of some of my co-bloggers, at least as they've related them to me in private correspondance. Still, it does not explain some of the girls I've seen one particular co-blogger flirt with at work when he was most assuredly sober. Perhaps scientists need a new formula for "library goggles", wherein the attractiveness of a girl is over-rated as a result of knowledge of what she reads...
