Anybody remember Extreme's album Pornograffiti? Well these Japanese guys loved it so much they named their band after it! What do you think? Could have picked a more memorable band or album, I think.

I think I'll call my band "Chinese Democracy."
And will probably be known in America about as well as these guys are known in America.
See if that was an American band, it would probably be some indie band trying to be ironic. But being Japanese, they are almost certainly completely earnest about it.
That song really does sound like Gary Cherone could have sung it though.
I'm pretty sure that even in Japanese, those lyrics are stupid.
