Crazy people call the library

While I'm still working on my response (or elaboration of) Holy Taco's recent post about 8 people you will find at the public library, I have this that comes from the Irving Public Library. Don't ask how I got it; I worked my magic and voila. This is an actual call received by the library and left on the voicemail system. The lady has quite a theory about lasers, ankle bracelets, and people turning red. Anyway, listen and enjoy.

This is not the crazy lady, but it might as well be!

Hear the crazy lady who calls the library!

Update: I forgot to mention two things that will make this make a little more sense (and crazy) to people who don't already know what this is: 1) the City Spectrum is Irving's city newsletter and 2) we had minor earthquakes (just tremors really) a couple of months before this lady called.

Is it at all possible what you're supposed to DO with all of this information she's given you? Is she complaining about it? Warning you? And why does she call the library? Most importantly, why do we allow crazy people to have the internet?

You know, I actually tried following the links she gives. Couldn't find anything.

As for calling the library, I think that when people ask themselves "Who can I ask about this?", regardless of whether it's a spelling question, weather in foreign parts, or a history of animal mascots for a brand, they always answer themselves "The library knows!".

This should go on YouTube.

I wish we could make an animation showing what she's talking about. That would be awesome.
